Terms and Conditions for Applying for a Job in a
Construction Company in Dubai
1. Eligibility Requirements
• Age Limit: Must be at least 18
years old.
• Work Visa: A valid work visa is
required, usually sponsored by asgcdubai for non uae residents.
• Medical Fitness: A mandatory
medical examination to ensure you are fit for the job.
• Educational Qualifications:
Depending on the job role, relevant diplomas, degrees, or certifications may be
required.
• Experience: Some positions may
require prior experience in construction.
2. Employment Contract
• Fixed-term or Permanent: 6yrs
contract
• Probation Period: Usually between
3 to 6 months with an advance salary of AED 2,800.00 (for non UAE residents)
• Termination Clause: Details about
notice periods and termination conditions.
3. Salary and Benefits
• Wages: As per UAE labor laws,
salary should be paid on time, typically through the Wages Protection System
(WPS).
• Overtime Pay: If applicable,
overtime compensation should be provided as per UAE labor law.
• Accommodation & Transport: As

required to provide basic health insurance.
• End-of-Service Gratuity: A lump

4. Work Conditions & Safety
• Working Hours: Typically 8-9 hours

• Rest Days: One day off per week,
usually Friday.
• Health & Safety: The employer
must ensure a safe working environment with protective gear and training.
• Heat Stress Rules: No work during
peak heat hours in summer (midday break rule).
5. Visa & Residency Rules
• Employer Sponsorship: The company
sponsors the work visa and residency permit.
• Visa Costs: The employer should

• Exit & Cancellation: Upon
termination or resignation, visa cancellation procedures must be followed.
6. Compliance with UAE Labor Laws
• Abiding by UAE Labor Law No. 33 of 2021,
which regulates employment in the private sector.
• No Absconding: If a worker leaves without
notice, it may lead to a labor ban.
• No Illegal Work: Working for another
employer without permission is illegal.
